WIG-2 pairs a piece of vintage Fordite with a single citrine, bringing together two materials with distinctly different character.
The layered pattern of the Fordite became the inspiration for the surrounding silver fabrication, with the metal worked to echo its irregular movement and rhythm. The result is a piece that allows the material itself to influence the form rather than simply being set within it.
WIG-2 is a one-of-one fabrication in Argentium silver, created as part of an ongoing exploration of form, texture, and found materials.
